HEY, TIM HERE.
YOU CAN, MAN.
THE WHY BEHIND THE NAME.
YOU CAN KNOW GOD, MAN.
LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE.
So you’re just getting started on your DIY journey and you need some tools? Where the heck do you start? On this week’s show we discussed the basic tools every DIYer needs to get started. We began the conversation with two non-negotiables:
You don’t have to pay a pest control company to spray for bugs at your house. You can totally do it yourself! On our very first podcast, Tim gave a quick run-down of how he’s been doing his own pest control at his for years. All the pro-grade pesticides can be bought on Amazon. You just need the know-how to get the job done. Tim did a writeup of all the details which can be found HERE.

Part 02 | The Library Renovation | Building a Wall and Installing Double French Doors
Follow along and watch me work at 1000x speed on my most recent renovation project, the library! In this second video, you’ll watch me build a wall and install French doors.
Announcement! I’ve started a YouTube channel! Starting this channel has been in the works for some time now, so I’m really pleased to finally have something going. For my first series, follow along on my recent renovation project – the library. The project includes, assessing and taking out a section of a load-bearing wall, a pocket door, building/framing a wall, installing double french doors, and semi-custom built-ins.
For part one, you’ll watch me demo, do some light electrical work, build a quick temporary wall, install a load-bearing header, and install a pocket door. This series isn’t meant to be direct how-to instructions, but rather an overview of the entire process. Watch me work at 1000x speed while I narrate in the background. Make sure to subscribe to my channel, give it a thumbs up, and share!
I fired my pest control company years ago, and you should too! I DIY pest control and have saved THOUSANDS! All the pesticides I use and link to in this post are pro-grade that you can legally buy online and use on your property. In this how-to-do-your-own-pest-control tutorial I’ll tell you exactly what to get, the mix ratio, how to apply it, and how often it should be done. Do-it-yourself pest control is one of the easiest homeowner tasks out there. It’s also a fantastic way to cut your monthly budget.
